« An Update from the Mack Family »

    Hi from your Scottish friends!

So we have returned home to not so sunny Scotland 😉 and as we get back in the saddle we are once more giving thanks for a wonderful summer spent in Coronado and Graham memorial!

We have had such a "brill" time! We are so thankful to Ralph for meeting us in LAX when we first arrived tired and excited to be back, and our thanks continued for all the hospitality and welcome that we received over the summer.

You have all been so thoughtful and caring to us over our time with you, but special mention has to be given to the Gapp family and the Bland family for taking our children for a week so we could escape to beautiful Oregon. (And to Wilfong's for the transport to the airport!)

Coming to Coronado is a lot like having a home from home, we get to meet old friends and make new ones! We loved every conversation, cup of coffee, beach party, concert in the park, and every time we come we feel God's blessing through the opportunity to unwind, relax and catch up with what God is doing in the life of the church and in your lives too.

The fun of Corvette's Diner and Seaworld really topped things off, and we had so much fun exploring more of San Diego, California and the west coast of America.

One of the biggest challenges of our pulpit exchange with David and Jody is that we don't get enough time to be with your Dr McElrath and her husband! But this time we were especially blessed upon our return to Scotland to have David and Jody with us for a week, they fed us, cared for us and did all the dishes! It was such fun to hang out, chat and enjoy each other's company. It was also the first time we met Heidi, and we look forward to the next time!

On behalf of Donna and I, we would just like to say thank you so much for having us again! As we minister in Scotland, it can occasionally be tiring and frustrating, but having the knowledge that we have an oasis in Coronado that helps us to take time to reflect and be revived means so much! It is such a blessing to know that our American family are praying for us, when we go through the night!

I know our church is blessed by the ministry of David and Jody, when they come to minister, we hope it is the same for Graham! And we know that both families are blessed with the time to be together, share and relax and be prepared for the next season!

Please come and visit us in Scotland, please pray for Scotland, and pray for us and St John's and King's park church in Dalkeith, we really appreciate your prayers!

With much love and thank you for the precious memories

Keith, Donna, Sophie, Christopher and Peter
