Blended Style | Sundays @ 10:45 am | Sanctuary
This service incorporates both the traditional and more contemporary styles of worship. If you are looking for more contemporary song lyrics, congregational prayer, or a more free-flowing, family-style service, this is the service for you.
Spanish Worship Service | Sundays @ 12:45 pm | Sanctuary
This service incorporates both the traditional and more contemporary styles of worship, completely in Spanish, led by Pastor Raul Palomino.

New Member Classes
The new members’ series of classes is on the following Sundays: Sept 15, 22, 29 from 12:30 to 2:30pm. If you were unable to attend the first class in the series last Sunday, September 8, you may still join the group for the remaining classes. We meet in the Garden Room in the CEC Building. Lunch and childcare will be provided. For more information, please contact the GMPC church office.

Mission Opportunity
We will be collecting peanut butter, dry beans, and children’s vitamin gummies to provide essential protein for street kids in Djibouti, Africa. The care packages will be delivered to an orphanage in Djibouti by Military personnel stationed in Djibouti. Please place your items in the gold trash can located in the Narthex. Thank you for your support!
2024 Bible Reading Challenge
The Bible is essential reading in the life of a Christian. As the Catechism states, it is important for us to have the Bible laid upon our hearts. The Bible is one of the primary means of how we learn God’s character, rules for our lives, work in the world. Megan Smith, Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministries, is challenging the GMPC youth this year to read through the whole Bible in one year, and make a practice of daily reading in order to grow their knowledge of God and deepen their relationship with Him. Megan is extending this challenge to the entire church so that we can encourage and equip each other.
The reading plan will be available as a paper copy and as a monthly bookmark in the sanctuary for your use, and is also available on the Bible App, titled CCV: The Bible in One Year by clicking here.
Pastoral Search
The Reverend Doctor David McElrath, beloved pastor of Graham Memorial Presbyterian Church in Coronado, retired on January 1, 2023, after 30 years of service to this congregation and community. The Reverend David Rodriguez arrived on March 1, 2023, to serve out as Interim Pastor.
The process of calling a new pastor is a multi-staged process in the Presbyterian Church and involves the congregation prayerfully discerning what the mission of their church is now and where they believe God would have their mission go in the future. Potential pastors can then be matched to the congregation, examined by a Pastor Nominating Committee as representatives of the congregation, and then recommended to the members of the congregation to choose and call the pastor they believe God wants to lead them.
