June MacLeod
June Mac Leod is a long-time attendee of Graham Memorial, having attended church services with her parents since Reverend Carson was the pastor. Over the years, June has volunteered on various church committees, emceed church events, ushered, acted as interim editor of the Kirk Visitor (print version), and served as an elder on Session for two terms. June was a professional, certified law librarian working in a large law firm for many years and then became a reference/research librarian and adjunct professor at a law school.
For most of June’s life, she has written: stories, poetry, research papers, plays, novels. She has had occasional bylines in city and college newspapers. (She even wrote the lyrics to two songs.) Being a writer has always been an interest of hers. However, as she was preparing for college, she decided to become a high school English teacher since teaching was something she also enjoyed doing. Her goals changed when she received her graduate degree in librarianship. She is now a published author, having written professional articles for legal periodicals and several novels, and she is currently in the final stages of publishing two more books. She also volunteers at the Coronado Historical Association as a researcher in their resource center.
If she could travel back in time to meet anyone, she would like to take a time machine back to the Garden of Eden and spend time with God in His beautiful garden. She relies on her faith in God and in His mercy. To God goes the glory!
