Whatever time or talent, Graham Memorial Presbyterian Church has a place for each member's contribution. Here you will find on-going and seasonal opportunities to connect with other church members, reach out to the community, and grow in faith. We are a congregation of servants. And we welcome all who want to join us in serving others.
Children’s Ministries
Awana Club Leaders
Need: Every Wednesday evening . September - May.
Time Requirement: Wednesday . 5:45pm - 7:45pm
Helpful Skills: Appreciation of children ages K - grade 6.
Responsibilities: Listen to children recite Scripture, direct interactions among the children & role model Christ-like patience and love.
Training: Read leader handbook and attend basic training.
Sunday School Teachers
Need: Every Sunday, year round.
Time Requirement: Sunday . 8:30am - 10:30am
Eligibility: Volunteers must be 16 years and older, know Christ as a personal Savior & have a desire to communicate God's love to children.
Responsibilities: Play with, read to, and pray for children, direct interactions among the children & role model Christ-like patience and love.
Training: Provided as needed.
Coffee Connection
Coffee Connection Hosts
Need: Every Sunday, year round
Time Requirement: Sunday . 9:45am - 10:45am
Eligibility: Volunteers must be 14 years and older.
Responsibilities: Coffee connection hosts pick up donut holes, make coffee, then set up in courtyard, and clean up afterwards.
Training: Step-by-step instructions.
Christian Education
Christian Education Teachers
Need: Adult Sunday School classes at 9:00am and 10:30am
Commitment: 1 hour classes, lesson preparation & approx. 4-8 week commitment
Requirement: Submit a complete Class Proposal
Eligibility: A personal relationship with Christ and a desire to teach God's Word.
Responsibilities: Develop, facilitate and lead a weekly Bible study.
Training: Simple verbal instruction.
Sunday Morning
Door Greeters
Need: Every Sunday, year round.
Time Requirement: Sundays . 8:30am - 9:00am or 10:00am - 10:30am.
Eligibility: All ages willing and able. Our youngest door greeter has been 6 years old!
Responsibilities: Arrive 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the service, shake hands with all who enter the sanctuary to worship, offer a worship bulletin to everyone who enters & ring the steeple bell to signal the start of worship.
Training: Simple verbal instruction.
Ushers
Need: Year round.
Time Requirement: Sundays . 8:30am - 10:30am or 10:00am - noon.
Eligibility: All ages willing an able. Our youngest usher has been 8 years old!
Responsibilities: Arrive early, help welcome worshipers in the absence of door greeters, locate seat openings and usher latecomers to service, collect the offering, open the sanctuary doors after the pastoral benediction, recapitulate the offering and submit to the financial secretary, police the sanctuary after worship & be prepared to administer first aid in an emergency.
Training: Instructions for 9:00 AM & 10:30 AM

Youth Ministries
Youth Group Leaders
Need: Every Tuesday evening, September - June.
Commitment: 1.5 hours, every Tuesday
Time Requirement: Tuesdays . 5:00pm - 6:30pm or 7:00pm - 8:30pm
Helpful Skills: Ability to relate to pre-teens and teens, ages 11–18.
Responsibilities: Help facilitate the evening gathering by leading games, giving announcements, and overall creating connections and relationships with students.
Training: Simple verbal instruction.
