Ken Ireland

Ken Ireland and his wife Patti have officially been members of Graham Memorial since 1998 after they started attending in the summer of 1997. Ken has served in several capacities around the church, such as being an adult leader for Big-5 (Youth Ministries’ Middle School youth group) for 14 years and singing in the choir for 10 years. Currently, he is serving as an Elder, newly nominated this year. His wife Patti also served as a Deacon for 6 years.

The Irelands are a Navy family. Pattie served for 22 years as a Navy Physical Therapist, Heather, their daughter, is a Navy Supply Corps Officer, Andrew, their son, is a Navy Helicopter Pilot (just like Ken!), and their daughter-in-law, Natalie, is a Navy Aerospace Physiologist. (We’ll send a prize to whomever can remember that in a week without looking!) As a child, Ken dreamed of being an airline pilot. After a brief detour of…some… years in the Navy, he is now living this dream!

A few fun facts about Ken: His toothpaste of choice is Biotene. If he could go back in time and meet anyone (other than Jesus, of course), he would like to walk and talk with the apostle Paul. Next time you see him on his Segway around town, stop and say hi!
